While the food quality shines, the chip shop can get crowded—especially on Friday evenings. Many customers note the long waits during peak dining times, making the experience feel a bit rushed. Although the fish and chips are worth the wait, it can be frustrating for those in a hurry. Parking is another downside, with limited free street parking options. Some diners might find it challenging to find a spot during busy hours, which could temper the excitement of a quick takeaway. Considering these factors, plan your visit during off-peak hours if possible.
Seahorse chip shop the best chips in north Devon! Great value and the best quality!
Lovely people, lovely fish and chips! Curry sauce and mushy peas were spot on. Ideal portion sizes for me. Will definitely be back 😊
Very, very busy one a Friday evening but that's good, right?! Shows how popular they are. Food was great, just a long wait. Recommended
1st proper takeaway since lockdown and it was so worth the wait. Great service and amazing fish and chips!
A great chippy, sells lots of veggie options and the rarefied savaloy too! Everything is made fresh where possible, right in front of you. This means it's no McDonald's for speed, but that's not an issue in my opinion. Prices are great. Parking is a pain, best park by the costcutter store on the main road, but that's the only downside.
Quaint place. Owners and staff always friendly and food cooked fresh to order. Worth the queues.
Freshly cooked. Friendly staff and keep smiling when the queue is out the door. Food well worth the wait
